Review: Zip Up Sweatsuit

Hi! The brown truck just came to my house--yay! I sent in Marlot's (#25) Ready For Fun/meet outfit to exchange for the Zip Up Sweatsuit. What a great choice!

I like the Ready For Fun outfit, but I thought I might like the Sweatsuit better. I pacified my desire for the RFF outfit by ordering replacement parts for the undies and striped socks.

I LOVE the Sweatsuit! It is the prettiest shade of purple, and the fit is really nice. The shoes are really great, far better than the RFF shoes. I didn't really pay attention to the description to see if it had socks, so I put a pair of plain white ones on Marlot. When I pulled the jacket out, lo-and-behold... white socks with a two purple stripes at the top! I love this outfit so much, I am going to ask for the matching set for myself, as soon as I lose enough to fit into girls' size pants again. (I started South Beach today; I have GOT to do something about these extra pounds.)

Marlot looks great in everything I've dressed her in so far, but this outfit might be the best yet! I tied her hair with a red polka-dot bow (I'm totally into hairbows), and she looks just perfect! I'll try to get some pictures tonight. I have loads of photos to upload from the October birthdays: Mom (age 53 TODAY), Caitlin (7), Camden (1) and Meredith (1).

This outfit gets TWO thumbs up AND an A+ from this teacher!

Thanks for the review! I really want to get this outfit for Isabel- is it for Marlot? It looks so cuddly and warm. I am going to Ukraine in 2 months and I am already planning the wardrobe for whichever doll accompanies me!! This looks nice and warm, don't you think?

You should post some more pictures of Marlot, she is so cute- especially with your hair talents!

Susan, the colors of the sweatsuit & shoes are red and purple. The only pink is on the shirt, one of the dots. The stripe on the pants is red & white.

Colette, I think it's a *very* cozy outfit-- which is most of why I want one too. I don't think anyone else will get to wear the doll version; it looks too good on Marlot!

Thanks for the great review. I really want this outfit for Christmas. I especially love the shoes! I love tennis shoes for dolls and these just look so pretty!

I'm anxious to see the pictures. I can't tell from the catalog if the stripes on the jacket are pink or red. The description doesn't say. I'm hoping they're pink to match the cute shoes, but on the description of the mystery t-shirt for girls, it says it's red and white. So I'm confused... [img]confused.gif[/img]
